Post Tiger King was created in 2022. The uninhabitable asteroid shifts like a thought during the pandemic in our minds. We observe, wait, refocus and try to adapt and change. The sound samples were taken in a period of strict covid quarantine, echoing the numbing routine of our every day’s life during the pandemic.
Under the influence of the virus a feverish dream of outer space came into existence to extend the horizon over the walls of our confinement. The season of lockdowns might be over, but it left us with the insecure feeling of how long our regained freedoms will last in a world that is rotating closer to a climate crises, war and restrictive regimes. Using the plastic power of digital colours the piece also comments on the massive part the cyber space, social media and computer games play in our world. Post Tiger King mirrors the partially unliveable planet we have created for ourselves; its only reference to the outside is the reflection of a photo on the glossy surface.
